‘Safely remove hardware’ icon missing from Windows 7 laptop since connecting Amazon Kindle Fire

I have lost ‘Safely remove hardware’ icon from my laptop running on Windows 7 after plugging in Amazon Kindle Fire. I went to Control Panel and confirmed that the icon is not hidden on my system. Is it possible to restore this icon?

    Hi,

Though you are missing the icon from your notification area, it can be re enact to display for your satisfaction.

You need to force Windows to always show the icon.

Click on the arrow at the left of the "Notification Area", which shows all the hidden icons in that "Notification Area",
    Click "Customize".
Scroll down to find "Windows Explorer, with Safely remove and eject hardware" .
Select "Show icon and notifications" to set Windows always display it in the notification area.

    Try that.

    Thanks.

    >>Select the device in that list and click the Properties Button and then the Change Settings Button.

    >>Select the Quick Removal option.
    >>Click OK/Apply/OK.
