Re: “Applet Cannot be loaded” message in Windows Vista when Click on Control Panel

You receive this message, when there is a missing file which is usually useful to open Control Panel. There might be the corrupt appet file ‘.cpl’. If this applet file corrupts, it does not open Control Panel. Rather, it displays this message. One on the reason might be that registry information on that applet might be corrupted or the registry key on the applet file might be not correct. Replace the ‘.cpl’ file and reboot. If it is a standard Windows applet, Windows will automatically replace it. If it works, your problem is solved, else to solve the problem, you need to take the backup and restore the registry.
