    Hello.

To fix this issue, we must uninstall and reinstall Windows Media Player from your computer.

To Uninstall the Windows Media Player program.

Click on Start, in the search field, type in TURN WINDOWS FEATURES ON OR OFF
Select "Turn Windows features On or Off" from the list.
Browse to the Media Features and uncheck the option Windows Media Player.
    Restart your computer

To Reinstall the Windows Media Player.

Click on Start, in the search field, type in TURN WINDOWS FEATURES ON OR OFF
Select "Turn Windows features On or Off" from the list.
Browse to the Media Features and check mark the option Windows Media Player.
    Restart your computer.

Now, open Windows Media Player and try to play the Video or Audio files.

I am sure, this will fix the issue.

    Regards
    Vincent Daniel
