Whenever i tried to Uninstall the Ask toolbar from my windows vista system i’m getting error message “ There is a problem with this installer package” with error code: 1720 on screen. Any help on this issue??

1)If you are able to install and run the below program, your issue would be resolved
Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter (MSICUU2.exe)
2)Download the above mentioned program into your system
3)Run it on your system by using administrator privileges
4)The Troubleshooter will automatically removes all files and registry settings associated with a program's windows installer configuration
5)Try to Uninstall the Ask toolbar after completing the above steps, then your issue will be resolved

To solve this problem follow the bellow steps
By re-registering in to the windows Installer your problem will solved
- Go to the start screen of the device
- Then click on the Start button
- Now type cmd in the search and press enter
- Then choose the Command prompt
- Now type Msiexec/unregister press enter to run the command
- Then type command Misexe/regserver and press Ok
