“Windows was unable to create a required installation folder” while installing windows 7 system

Hi, while installing the windows 7 ultimate in custom mode, i got error message “Windows was unable to create a required installation folder” on screen, and the installation stopped in the middle. How can i overcome from the error message while installing windows 7 ultimate system. I’m using windows vista system, running on HCL system.

1)Go to start menu → Type in like this “CMD”
2)Select CMD from the search results
3)Right click on the CMD → Run as Administrator
4)In CMD, type in the below command and then press Enter
“net user administrator /active:yes” without quotes
5)Restart the computer, for saving the command settings which you have made on your system.
6)Finally, Retry to install windows 7 ultimate system on your system.
Error Report: Normally, mentioned error message refers to error code:0x80070005, which indicates that you don’t have enough permissions or privileges to run the Operations on your system.
That’s it over!

To solve this problem follow these steps

• Go to the home screen of the system
• Click on start Menu then type cmd in search
• Then select the cmd and select the option Run as Administrator
• Now type net user administrator/active:yes press enter
• Then restart the system once
• Then try to install the windows 7 on your system

Hi, Dear friend

To resolve the above .....follow these instructions

First of go to start menu and click on MY COMPUTER

Now open the INSTALLED DRIVE which is usually C:\ DRIVE

Then find the Windows folder ...and Rename it as windows.old

Most of the cases the C: drive does not allow you to change the NAME in that case try to log on to windows with ADMINISTRATOR account and continue the process

After that try again .... it will be resolved
