    Adding an item located in Windows Explorer to the Start menu in Acer notebook with windows

    How can I add an item located in Windows Explorer to the Start menu in my Acer notebook with windows? Please let me know the steps for doing it.

    • First tap on the Start button
    • Go to the ‘Settings’ to see a ‘submenu’
    • Click Taskbar followed by ‘Start Menu’
    • Click the Customize button followed by ‘Add’.
    • Browse to navigate to the specific item.
    • Click on ‘Next’ and double tap on the folder containing item
    • Click on ‘Finish’ followed by clicking on ‘OK’ two times

    Hiiiiii
    Right click on the file and select Send to Desktop (create shortcut) and then drag the shortcut on the desktop to the Start menu.
    You should not create shortcuts or change any files in the Programs area unless you are troubleshooting.

    You can easily add an item in Start Menu by using different methods.

    ~> You can easily add that item through your Mouse Pointer.
    ~> Just drag that item to the Start Menu and place it.

    ~> Other way is to first click on Start button.
    ~> Then, go to Settings for Submenu.
    ~> Now, click on taskbar and then Start Menu.
    ~> After this, click the Customize button and after that Add button.
    ~> Browse here to navigate to the specific item.
    ~> Click on Next and double click on the folder containing item.
    ~> Click on Finish button and then click on OK button two times for finishing the process.

    hello friend. . .

    To adding wanted items into Start menu is very simple procedure.
    Now follow the commands.

    * go to Start menu .
    * go to Programs.
    * open any wanted folder location.

    * a Explorer is Opened
    * Go to Back the parent folder of the current folder.
    * Now the Copy the Wanted files .
    * Paste the current location . Current Locations is like This C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu
    * go to Start menu.
    * you wanted items are show as menu.

    Note :

    Remember Don't copy more that 1mb size files into that location.
    Then it will take more time to load start menu.

    hi my dear friend .... to add the windows explorer .....follow the given steps

    => first open the start menu and click on the control panel...or.. press windows key + r and type in that control
    then the control panel will be opened

    => then click on the system and security option

    => in that choose appearance and personalization from left side options

    => then click on the task bar and star menu

    => then there choose startmenu tab

    => in that window click on the customize option

    => there you select the option as you like .......

    => then click on the OK button

    => then again open the start menu and there you click on the all programs option

    => then there you see ....the options whatever you selected in the past

    then click to open ......and ENJOY and ALL THE BEST

    Hey, there is a very simple way to add any program to the start menu, Just follow the steps below and you will be able to solve your problem:-

    1) Open Windows Explorer, Go to the destination folder which application is to be pinned in start menu.

    2) Right click on the application and select the "Pin To Start menu".


    Your program will be pinned to the start menu.
