    ALT-tab window disappearing behind other windows on Windows 7

    Normally, the ALT-tab window stays at the top of other windows popped up on my PC running on Windows 7. But since two weeks, the ALT-tab window is going into Peek mode while I switch the windows. It is hiding behind other windows forwarded by the Peek. In what way can I avoid this?

    Get into the start menu by pressing the ‘Start’ button on the desktop and choose ‘Control Panel’ option from it. Once you can see the ‘Control Panel’ window, click the ‘Advanced’ icon available on it. This will redirect you into advanced system settings. Navigate into the ‘Performance’ section and press the ‘Settings’ button. You can then view the custom list of visual effects on the screen. Scroll through that list and clear off the checkbox next to ‘Enable Aero Peek’ option. After that, you need to click on the ‘Apply’ button and check whether the issue gets resolved or not.

    Follow the below steps:

    ->in the section Performance click on "Settings..." button
    ->in the custom list of Visual Effects uncheck "Enable Aero Peek"
    ->click "Apply" button
