Hello,
This might not be a hardware issue.
Maybe by mistake you have fast forwarded the audio option on your player.
Check the player settings on try running the audio on other players.
To download the players click on the following link http://www.filehippo.net
If the player is working fine than you need to call the Dell people.

It maybe problem of software or might be virus.
if it is virus related problem then install a good anti-virus and scan your computer .
Or it is setup problem then re-install your software .
Or you can use other player for playing audio.

dear friend,
it may be the problem of your audio driver or problem of the media players.
try to install your audio drivers after uninstalling it.
go to the setting of your audio player & reset the setting to default.
hii, might be a little problem with your hardware or virus effect.........
dont worry.....just install another player and try to play the song again...........
if the problem occurs again...........
then contact to your laptop company............to claim warranty..........they will repair free of cost............
hi,
this is problem with your player setting.
>> just reintall your player and you can solve your problem.
>> or you have to change setting with this player
>> reduce play speed by left side double arrow button.
>> i hope you have got me.
>> all the very best
Hi dear friend.........
First of all try to confirm it ....whether the problem is with Audio Drivers or player ....by the following
press windows key+r and type dxdiag and press ENTER key and wait for a while
now tap on SOUND tab and check the NOTES box...... and if it shows any error ..... then there is a problem with your Audio Drivers ...... in that cause ....simply Re-install the Audio Drivers......... otherwise .... the problem is with the Players only
To fix this issue In case of Windows media player follow the below
First open the windows media player .....and press alt key from the keyboard
now choose the VIEW menu from the pop up .... and point Enhancements.. and click on PLAY SPEED SETTINGS
and set the slider to 1.0 or simply press NORMAL option from the window
after that your problem will be resolved......... .... and for the other player.....simply go to audio settings and make it as default
ALL THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi..
This might be due to the Virus effect .
Try another Player and see the result .
Update the audio drivers ,
see the settings of audio, get back them to default mode .
or else reinstall the Audio drivers .
Thank you...
okay, lets do these things one by one..
right click on my computer.
select properties.
go to device manager.
uninstall audio drivers.
exit.
Now remove audio players from your system like VLC, GOM., etc
restart your system.
install those drivers and players again.
by now your problem will solved.
happy to assist you
Dear Friend,
This might cause because of Virus effect.
Uninstall your program.
and then Reinstall.
and keep antivirus with update.
And then it will fine.....
Thank You!!!!
To reduce the playing speed in windows media player, start playing a music file,
Switch to Now Playing Mode,
Click on an empty space on the screen,
Click Enhancement,
Click Play Speed Settings. Adjust the slider to reduce the playing speed.
Exit and enjoy the music.
