Auto-Hide Taskbar function not working in windows 7

I am using windows 7 from last four months and started facing this issue from last three days. Generally when you set the Auto-Hide Taskbar function to “ON”,Taskbar automatically hides after sometimes but In my case, I have already enabled this setting but Taskbar never hides. I don’t know what went wrong or what mistakes, I am committing but I want to solve the problem(if any..) so please guide me.

    dear friend,

To enable the taskbar auto hide feature in your computer, you have to follow these steps-

    Right click on the taskbar.
    Click on the Properties.
Now select the Taskbar tab & check the box beside Auto hide taskbar option.
    Click on OK.

Check whether the taskbar is auto hiding or not.

If you are still facing the problem then you have to perform some tasks-

    A) Open the process tab in the task manager & close all the applications running except windows explorer & check.

    B) Disable the notification icons in the taskbar & check.

If you are facing the same problem then you must create a different user account disabling the current one.

Hope these information will help you a lot.

This could be possible that you are not doing it in a right way ..
    follow the below steps :

    - Right click on a empty space on the taskbar and click on properties

    - There you will find the option of auto hide taskbar

    - Just tick on that option and click ok to make changes to set
