    Black screen with cursor in Windows Vista

    My laptop runs in Windows Vista Home premium. After running check disk, the system wonít boot anymore. A black screen and cursor appears. I donít have a CD but recovery partition in PC. Is there any way to fix this issue?

    hi dear friend.........

    simply restore your windows settings and resolve the issue

    for that go to start menu and open the control panel

    and click system and security option

    then click on BACKUP and RESTORE option

    and click the recover system settings or your computer option

    then click on open system restore button ..........

    and if you already have the restore point or system image recovery then go for the advanced recovery methods option

    other wise continue this process

    then click NEXT ... and choose the option recomended ....and click NEXT

    and finally click the save settings and run button ....then the process will begins

    after that your problem will be resolved
