Bluetooth enabled keyboard not working in Windows 7

I have a Lenovo laptop running Windows 7 Ultimate. My laptop has a Bluetooth module with Bluetooth drivers installed. I recently paired a Bluetooth enabled keyboard to my computer. Although the pairing went successfully, the device isnít working. I made sure that itís not a range problem. How can I fix this problem?

If the device is connected but not working, reinstalling the keyboard may fix the problem. First connect a wired keyboard and go to Control panel. Now click and open Bluetooth devices in the Control panel. Select the Bluetooth keyboard and click Remove. Click Add and press the reset button at the bottom of the keyboard. Select ‘My device is set up and ready to be found’ checkbox and click Next. Repeat this step if the keyboard isn’t detected. Select the device and click ‘Next’. Exchange passkeys. It should work now.
that. K e +~ } ck the ‘System and Maintenance’ option from the ‘Control Panel’ window. Then, click on ‘System’ option and press the ‘Device Manager’ option. If the ‘Control Panel’ is in classic view, then you need to double click on ‘System’ for bringing up the ‘Device Manager’. After that, provide the confirmation or password if prompted. Expand the ‘Sound Video and Game controllers’ option in Device Manager and locate the ‘Sound Video and Game controllers’ option. Right click on it and select ‘Properties’ from the pop-up menu. Press the ‘Update’ tab afterwards and make a single click on ‘Update driver’ button.

    Hello there !!!

from your statement i came to know that you have successfully paired your device.
but you should know that after pairing the device you need to connect your device with the other device.

so, for this you need to again go to the device option and there will be one
more option getting highlighted called connect.

select the option connect and then it will ask you for the permission to connect your device.

just allow the deice for getting connected.
    this will help you out.

hope i am clear to you.
    thanks for posting in EALP.

    Hello there !!!

let me tell you that this is not an error message displayed to you.
actually this is the suggestion from the outlook express to you that you can save your
extra space by compacting your size.

this will help you to save the [space.
so, don't worry if you don't want to get involved into it , than ignore the message.

there will no harm to your system.

hope i am clear to you.
    thanks foe posting in EALP.
