I have a notebook based on Windows 7 which has the mouse coupled to it via a Bluetooth connection. Recently the mouse has stopped working and I cannot figure out the reason. Why is the Bluetooth mouse not working?

There might be some problem with the Bluetooth services on the notebook that is causing this problem. You could check this out by going to the Start icon and typing in services.msc from which you’ll be able to select the various services. You would get a dialog box on this where you’ll find the Bluetooth support services which will open a double click. Make this set as automatic and open the log tab. From this have this account chosen and give the local services. After this is done get all the passwords deleted and click in the confirm button. On restarting the notebook you will have the mouse perfectly working.
There can be several resaons which are responsible for the mouse inaction.
1. The mouse can be physically damaged, its sensors might fail. Test the mouse by attaching it to any funcional
PC which can describe the status.
2. The Bluetooth controller chipset might be in question, attach another device to verify wheather the bluetooth is
working or not.
3. The driver for bluetooth might be missing or corrupt, install latest compatible driver for a solution.
click Start, in the search box type Bluetooth press enter, click Bluetooth, click driver, click uninstall.
Simply exit the window. Start computer again and another bluetooth driver will be installed.
Check the mouse activity.
