Bluetooth peripheral driver missing error while connecting Blackberry handset to Windows 7

I recently bought a new Blackberry 8520. Then I installed the Blackberry desktop manager in my Windows 7 PC and tried connecting the phone via Bluetooth. But the connection failed and two error notifications appeared saying two Bluetooth peripheral drivers missing. What should I do to enable connection of my handset to the PC via Bluetooth?

The peripheral drivers are actually for ports. You won’t be able to connect the handset if these drivers are missing. Open Device Manager from System Properties in the Control panel. Now select the hardware and you will notice the drivers marked not working properly. Update the drivers by right clicking. Select Ports hardware now. Then select RIM Virtual Serial port v2 from RIM Virtual Serial ports. Add it and ignore the warning. Repeat this step for all non working drivers. Pair the device once again and it should work.

You need to update driver for the connecting port where you are connecting your blackberry.

Go to: START--CONTROL PANEL--SYSTEM AND SECURITY--DEVICE MANAGER--PORTS--DRIVER--UPDATE DRIVER, and windows will download the latest compatible driver for your system and install.

That will solve your problems. Use the option to update whichever device driver you need to update in order to run the system and connected devices smoothly.

    Hi dear friend..........

first of all check the bluetooth connection settings in your phone

And keep my phone's visibility in ON ......and also the option Remote SIM mode ...option make it ON in your phone

after check whether the connected port working or not

then on the HOME SCREEN click on manage connections icon

    click bluetooth options

    highlight a bluetooth enabled device

    press the menu key

    and click connect........

    ALL THE BST.!!!!!!!!!
