    Hello Guest !!

This seems that you are installing windows on lappy and at 64% you are getting error about the missing of boot manager.
see what might be reason for this :-

    > either your CD/DVD is not burned properly
    > either your setup to windows is corrupt
    > either you are not installing your operating system properly.

so,do ensure all the mentioned steps.
if everything will be right than your windows will be installed 100%.

    Hi,

Yes the scenerio is precarious, and theres a few things you need to do immidietly.

Do you have a "Rescue Disk" created at the beginning probably? Insert that disk and follow the guideline provided by the software, you will find things normal again.

Or, insert your Windows Installer Diskette in the optical drive and boot from that.

Select "Repair...." and follow the instruction which will Recover Windows from the BootMGR lost situation.

The final option is to Clean Install Windows, Backup all files which is necessary.

    Thanks.

    Hi.
    Follow the given two methods:

Method 1: Repair the BCD store by using the Startup Repair option

You can use the Startup Repair option in the Windows Recovery Environment to repair the BCD store. To do this, follow these steps:
    1. Put the Windows installation disc in the disc drive, and then start the computer.
    2. Press a key when you are prompted.
    3. Select a language, a time, a currency, and a keyboard or another input method, and then click Next.
    4. Click Repair your computer.
    5. Click the operating system that you want to repair, and then click Next.
    6. In the System Recovery Options dialog box, click Startup Repair.
    7. Restart the computer.
Method 2: Rebuild the BCD store by using the Bootrec.exe tool

If the previous method does not resolve the problem, you can rebuild the BCD store by using the Bootrec.exe tool in the Windows Recovery Environment.
    6. In the System Recovery Options dialog box, click Command Prompt.
    7. Type Bootrec /RebuildBcd , and then press ENTER.
If the Bootrec.exe tool runs successfully, it presents you with an installation path of a Windows directory. To add the entry to the BCD store, type Yes . A confirmation message appears that indicates the entry was added successfully.
If the Bootrec.exe tool cannot locate any missing Windows installations, you must remove the BCD store, and then you must re-create it. To do this, type the following commands in the order in which they are presented. Press ENTER after each command.Bcdedit /export C:\BCD_Backup
    ren c:\boot\bcd bcd.old
    Bootrec /rebuildbcd
    8. Restart the computer.

    Thank you.

    Dear Friend!!
It might be possible that your laptop is infected to virus.
If you are able to start your computer, open your antivirus and click on boot scan.
And then restart the computer. It will check whether there are some problems in Boot strap manager or not.
If problems persists, you need a hard reset.i.e. re-install windows.
But before that make a backup of your files.
