    Can not run .exe file in windows XP

    Hello friends,.exe file are not running in my computer, it shows same critical error. All software setup are corrupted. I cannot able to understand what wrong happen with my computer. No application software are running. Please help to resolve that problem.

    Hi..

    For this

    Press windows +R button..

    Now Type and execute "regedit"

    Here expand H_KEY_CLASSES_ROOT...

    Next click on .exe file..

    Now choose Shell..

    Next click on Open tab..

    Now choose Command..

    here that right pane Double click on Default value..

    Now change current value..

    Finally click on Apply and OK..

    Now it will work...

    Hello Friend ,

    You are having a problem that can not run .exe file in windows xp.

    This kind of problem may be occur due to two reason ..

    It should be possible that windows installer not enable into your windows xp.

    You have to check it from system configuration.

    Second problem should be your system highly affect with virus.

    You have to clean your system with anti virus software.

    and then trying to install this file.

    Hello friend,


    I have the solution for your problem just do as i say................................

    1.Firstly open the Run from the start menu.

    2.Then you type 'RegEdit' and then press 'Enter'.

    3.Then you expand 'HIKEY_CLASSES_ROOT'.

    4.Then you expand 'exefile' and then expand 'shell'.

    5.Then expand 'Open' and then click on 'Command'.

    6.Then you open that file in right pane and enter value as "1%"%*.

    7.Save that and close the RegEdit and restart your system and your problem will be solved now.
