Cannot back up anything from PC running on Windows Vista into hard drive

It is not possible to back up any folders on my PC upgraded to Windows Vista into hard drive. Whenever I make an attempt, I keep getting the registry error with error code Ox80041321 or Ox80042304. How can I prevent this error?

Click the ‘Start’ button first and highlight ‘All Programs’ available in the start menu. Click the ‘Accessories’ option afterwards and locate the ‘Command Prompt’ option from the available menu. Right click on that option afterwards and choose ‘Run as Administrator’ option. Press the ‘Continue’ button or enter the administrator password. This will open up the black Command Prompt window into which type sfc /scannow and press the ‘Enter’ key. On doing so, you can view “the system scan will begin” message on the Command Prompt window. The corrupted files will be replaced once the scan process get finished and it will resolve the error.
