Cannot boot up Toshibha laptop running on Windows Vista

Whenever I try to start up my Toshibha laptop running on Windows Vista, I keep getting the error message “An unexpected error has occurred, faulty hardware such as a hard drive or CD-Rom drive that is failing. Status: 0xc00000e9”. The message also adds that the Kernel is missing or corrupted. In what way can I fix up this issue?

    hiii...
Its a registry problems occurs in windows OS rather less but can crash the complete computer.
    To resolve it,
Reboot your PC. While the system is beginning to boot, put in the Windows installation disk, which you should have gotten beforehand. Make your computer boot form the disk. Once this is done, select the ‘startup repair’ option. Your computer should be able to perform the repair function on its own.
Once you are done with this step, boot your computer in safe mode, and do a complete Driver update for Windows. The reason you should load up the system in safe mode is to prevent Windows from loading any drivers or software that may be the originator of the registry problems in the first place.

    Hi,

You have encountered a real damaging experience.

You must be having the Windows Vista Installer CD with you, Boot from that disk.

Once the booting process is over it will show you option "Repair..." , select that and the Windows installer will try to repair the damaged file system and provide fresh files to run the system . It will inform you once the repair setup is complete.

Remove the CD and boot normally.

YOU MAY HAVE TO REINSTALL DEVICE DRIVERS AND FOR THAT YOU SHOULD BETTER UNINSTALL THE EXISTING ONES AND THEN REINSTALL THE DRIVERS FROM MICROSOFT OFFICIAL SITES.

    Thanks.

Immediately after switching on your computer, keep tapping the F8 key. This should bring up the boot menu.
One of the options should say "Last known good configuration". Highlight it using your up and down arrows and press Enter.
This should let you boot back into Windows.
