Cannot delete files with longer names from Windows 7

When I try to delete ‘Temporary Internet Files’ folder on my PC upgraded to Windows 7, I get the error message “The file name(s) would be too long for the destination folder. You can shorten the file name and try again, or try a location that has a shorter path”. I checked this folder afterwards and found some files with very long name. When I right clicked on these files, I found the ‘Delete’ option missing from the pop-up menu. Is there any other way to remove the files?

Perform a disk clean up on your system and see whether the files get deleted after that. Go to the bottom part of the desktop and click the ‘Start’ button. Once the start menu become visible on the screen, click the ‘All Programs’ option from it. The next step required is to click the ‘Accessories’ option. You can then view ‘System Tools’ option on the screen. By the time you find it, make a single click on it. Finally, press the ‘Disk Cleanup’ button visible on the screen and wait the until cleanup process get finished.
