Cannot enable screen saver on Windows 7

For the past few weeks, it is not possible to turn on screen saver in my PC running on Windows 7. I have performed a system restore and recovered the system from back up. Still, the issue persists on the system. How can I get rid of this?

Get into the start menu by clicking on ‘Start’ button available in the desktop and click the ‘All Programs’ option. Once you can view the list of programs, click ‘Windows update’ from it. Download the update, if you want to install it into your system. The next step required is to click the ‘Review optional updates’ link available. Then, you can view a list of optional updates. Select ‘Microsoft HID non-user input data filter’ from that list and install it. Once you finish the installation process, check whether it is possible to turn on the screen saver.

    Hello Guest,
Make sure that can safely boot into windows, press F8 at startup(boot screen) to get into the advanced system recovery options. This will ensure that windows has not crashed, implying that the updates were not played with leading to the "Windows is not genuine" background screen. Having done so, skip to the last step.

<>Start Windows normally. On your desktop, right click any area on the screen except the icons. This shall give you a list of several options. Click on the last one, i.e. "Personalize".
<<>>In the customization screen, you can select the Screensaver option which is located on the extreme right in the customization panel. Click on it, select Browse and choose the desired picture that you want to set as screensaver.

Thank you. All the BEst. Wishing you a merry christmas and a Happy new year in advance! Regards- PRAVIR, EALP TEAM!!!!!!! :-)
