Cannot install KB2754670 Security update into Windows Vista

Even after trying for four times, I am not able to install KB2754670 Security update into my PC running on Windows Vista. I have rebooted my PC and it does not make any difference in the situation. What is the procedure to fix the error with the update?

Get into the start menu by pressing the ‘Start’ button and click the ‘Run’ option. Type regedit into the field appears on the screen and wait until the Registry Editor open up on the screen. Type in the password or provide the confirmation if prompted. Go the left pane of the editor and navigate into the following sub key, HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Cur rentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders and search for the key named AppData. If the value of this key is not %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming, then right click on the key and click on ‘Modify’ option. Type %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming into Value data box appears on the screen. After clicking the ‘OK’ button, install the update again into your PC. If the issue still persists, then navigate into following sub keys instead of the previous one and repeat the same steps. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
