Re: Cannot join the HomeGroup in Windows 7 System

If you are not able to join the Homegroup, one reason might be anyone on the Service“Peer Networking Group” or “HomeGroup Provider” is not working or not started. Follow these steps to solve the problem.

    Click Start >> Control Panel.
Type “Administrative Tools” in the Search box and hit enter. Click “Administrative Tools”.
If asked for Administrative Password, give and confirm it.
Double - Click on the “Services”.
If asked for Administrative Password, give and confirm it.
You should see the “Status” on both “Peer Networking Group” and “HomeGroup Provider” as “Started”.
If not, double - click on the name on the Service and Click “Start”. Your Problem is solved.
