Cannot rename a folder in Windows 8 System

I am using Windows 8 my System. Whenever I try to rename a folder, it is not allowing me to do that. Everything is fine and no virus in my System. I do not know what has happened. Please, anyone help me in solving the problem.

    DEAR FRIEND,

The reason behind the issue is the administrator privilages

If you want to change the folder name or file name you need to get the administrator privilages

for that ....simply restart your PC and login with the Administrator account

    or...... press
    ctrl+alt+delete combination

and click switch user option and enter the password if prompted ..and login

    ALL THE BEST.....!

    Hi,

the problem you are encountering is because of lack of priviledge assigned to you while creating your user account.

Administrative account can provide full control and every rites that you may require.

Login to the system with an administrative password, and once logged in you can do all things you need to perform.

Also you let your own accunt have every rite that you need when you will log in with your own account. exit and do things normally.

    Thanks.
