Cannot share PlayStation 3 with Windows 7

While I was using Windows Vista with my PC, I had no problem in sharing media from Play Station 3 with it. But since upgrading it to Windows 7, the media share no longer works on my PC. How can I correct this issue?

First of all, press the ‘Start’ button and choose ‘Control Panel’ from the start menu. Click on ‘Network and Sharing Center’ icon afterwards and press the ‘Change Advance Sharing Settings’ button. After that, you need to locate both ‘Network Discovery’ and ‘File & Printer Sharing’ options. Make certain that both of these options are set to ‘ON’ mode. The next step required is to click on the ‘Media Streaming Options’ option. Then, select ‘All Networks’ option from the ‘Show devices’ drop bar. On doing so, you can view the list of some unknown devices. Double click on each of these devices and check its MAC address. After that, you need to make sure that this address matches with the MAC address of your PlayStation 3.

    Hi
Follow the steps to enable media sharing between your PS3 and Windows 7 OS:
    >Go to Control Panel
    >Network and Sharing Center
    >Change Advance Sharing Settings

Then you need to make sure:
    - Network Discovery is ON
    - File & Printer Sharing is ON

After that click on Media Streaming options

On the Show devices drop bar, select All Networks
You should see some Unknown device/devices.
Double-click each Unknown device to see the MAC address of the device
Find the device that matches the MAC address of your PS3 and allow that device for media sharing.

    Thank you.
