Cannot sync offline files while logging off PC running on Windows XP

Since two weeks, I am not able to synchronize offline files through my PC running on Window XP when I log off it. These files includes mostly music and image files. What should I do to fix up this issue?

Get into the bottom part of the desktop and click the ‘Start’ button. Choose ‘My Computer’ option from the start menu and click the ‘Tools’ menu. After selecting the ‘Folder Options’ under that menu, press the ‘Offline Files’ tab. Select the checkbox near ‘Enable Offline Files’ until you can see a tick mark on it. Click the check box appear next to ‘Synchronize all offline files’ also and press the ‘OK’ button to get back to ‘My Computer’. You need to click on network icon twice afterwards and locate the file you want to sync. Click on it and choose the ‘Make Available Offline’ option under ‘File’ menu. Finally, quit the ‘My Computer’ window and check whether it is possible to sync the offline files.
