Cannot use Radeon HD 7950 with Windows 8

I have installed Windows 8 into my new PC. Everything works fine on my system after that except the Radeon HD 7950 graphic card. Even though the install CD is shown on the system, I canít install the card from it. Instead of that, it displays only a blue screen with GIGABYTE on the top part while running. Any fix available for this problem?

Once you find the install CD on your system, right click on it. Choose ‘Open’ from the context menu appears on the screen afterwards. After that, you need to locate a set up or install application and right click on it. A menu will pop up on the screen after that from which select the ‘Properties’ option. This will bring up the ‘Properties’ window on the screen. Go to the top part of the window and press the ‘Compatibility’ tab. Click on the check box next to ‘Compatibility Mode’ option for checking it and then choose ‘Windows 7’.

    Dear Friend!!
First of all, you just browse the CD and there would be a file present names as "readme" in txt format.
Open that to check if your card is compatible or not.
If all specs are fine, then Go to Control panel, then in troubleshooter.
Select "configure hardware device " in Hardware and sound.
Windows will automatically detect the problems persisting and then solve them.If there are compatibility issues, then they will also be solved.

    Hi,

The issue is probably not with the card itself but the compatibility factor sneaks in.

You need to make the installed software compatible to the latest Windows8 and that will sort the issue.

Find the install CD on your system, right click on it.

Open > search for a "set up or install" application and right click on it > Properties > Compatibility > click check box next to "Compatibility Mode" to check > Windows 7.
This should make the Windows 7 files compatible to Windows8 and the Woindows 8 will be able to recognize it.

    Thanks.
