Re: Can't access Folder after installing new version of Windows Vista

You are getting the error code due to the user account information has changed. So, you should take ownership of the folder in order to resolve the matter. Follow the procedure:

    > Do right click on Folder and click on Properties
    > Go to Security tab and click on Advanced
    > Click on Owner tab and then Edit it
    > Type the admin password if needed
    > Now, for giving ownership to anyone type the name of the person
    > Click on ok and process finished.

Now, check the issue. It will be resolved now.

    Hi,

Your trouble has its root in the new Windows installation which didn`t assign rights to you to execute all tasks, and the ownership o folder was handed over to the administrator from you due to mis installation of the Windows.

Issue an authority to yourself by,

Right Click FOLDER > PROPERTIES > SECURITY > ADVANCED > OWNER edit the field and give ownership to yourself, FINISH > Exit.

Reboot and check if the problem is there or not, it should be resolved by now,

    Thanks.
