    Can't fix the issue of Audio driver installation in Windows XP

    If trying to install audio media driver on my windows XP then getting an error message on screen that Media Device not found. What doe this message mean? I am using my motherboard CD to installing audio video drivers. Need some solutions tips on this issue.

    Hi,

    Do you have onboard chip to control Audio System, or do you use seperate Card to do the job.

    Do open the CPU cabinate and unmount the card installed (in case you are having a Audio Card), Remount it. Close the lid.

    Run the system and install the driver. If fail to get result,

    Download the latest driver for Audio from the internet, Windows Driver or The Card Manufacturer`s Driver whichever, after downloading Install it and check the status.

    Click Start, type Device Manager in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
    b. Click Continue. The Device Manager Dialog box is displayed.
    c. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.
    d. In Device Manager, click on sound and right on audio driver and click uninstall.
    e. Install the latest drivers audio driver from the manufacturer website.

    hi my dear friend.........

    first of all check whether the mother board CD/DVD working properly or not

    some times the CD/DVD is not readable causes also the error message appears like the above

    and if you are not able to install with the CD ....simply download the latest Audio drives and install them

    and to Download the Audio drivers visit this web site www.filehippo.com and there you look on Drivers category

    and click on MORE ......and download the audio drivers for XP

    Follow the below steps:
    >>Click Start, right-click Computer, and then click Properties.
    >>In the Tasks pane, click Device Manager.
    >>
    If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue.
    >>In Device Manager, locate the device for which you want to install the driver.
    >>Note To display hidden devices, click Show hidden devices on the View menu.
    >>Right-click the device, and then click Update Driver Software.
    >>Click Browse my computer for driver software, click Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer, and then click Have Disk.
    >>In the Install From Disk dialog box, click Browse, locate an .inf file for the device driver that you want to install, and then click Open.
    >>Follow the steps in the Update Driver Software DeviceName dialog box to update the driver.

    Hello

    To fix the audio driver related issue you can try these steps....

    ====>Right click on My computer icon.
    ====>Click on Manage option.
    ====>Under the Computer Management window click on Device Manger.
    ====>Here you will see the all installed hardware as in list under the Device Manager window.
    ====>Find Sound, video and games controller and click on arrow just next to it.
    ====>After clicking you will see the sound driver as High Definition Audio Drive in my case.
    ====>Right click on it and click Update driver software.....
    ====>After following few steps your Sound driver software will update successfully.
    ====>After updating of sound card your problem will be solve.

    Hello friend....
    First insert the mother board cd and reinstall the audio drivers.
    Then check the connections of speakers with CPU.
    Then open device manager and right click on audio drive.
    Now update the drive and restart the PC.

    Then it's done....
