Changing the size of left panel on Windows Explorer in Windows XP

Every time I open up Windows Explorer on my PC running on Windows XP, I found the left panel is too small to fit all the options inside it. I am planning to resize the left panel for avoiding this issue. What are the procedures required for that?

    Hello Guest !!

yes, you can easily resize your left pane of the windows that open, weather it be of your my computer or any folder.
just select the boundry of your left pane and streatch it to the level upto you eant it it streatched.

by doing this you will be easily be able to streatch it as desired by you.
and everytime you open the windows it wil remain as it was before.

    ans it wil be permanent.
and again if you want to change its size than repeat the steps as you did to extend it.

    hope you are satisfied.

    Hi,

There is a way to do how you expect to view your Windows Explorer and the process is as follows:

    Click "Start".
    select "Control Panel"
    Select "Classic View".
Double click on "Folder Options" icon.
Check mark next to "Use Windows classic folders." This will hide the side task pane and display Windows Explorer folders in a list style.
    Click "Apply"
    "OK".

    Thanks.
