    Chrome browser crashes while opening bookmarks on Asus Windows XP laptop

    Whenever I open bookmarks saved on my Asus Windows XP laptop, the Chrome browser is crashing all of a sudden. Why is it so? What is supposed to be done so as to handle this problem?

    Dear friend,

    To solve your problem proceed as follows:

    1. Open your chrome browser.
    2. Press the key combinations Ctrl+Shift+Del from your keyboard.
    3.This will open clear browsing data window. Select all the checkboxes. And click "Clear Browsing Data"
    Your all Google Chrome cache is cleared now.
    4. Restart your Google Chrome browser and your problem will be solved then.

    hi dear friend...........to overcome the above issue ....follow the below instructions .... and I hope which may helps you


    first of all open the Google chrome


    then press ctrl+h combination from the keyboard


    now click on CLEAR ALL BROWSING DATA button


    then select all........and Drop down Obliterate following Items from option


    now select it as THE BEGINNING OF TIME option


    then click on Clear Browsing button .....from the below .....and wait for a while


    then at the left pane choose EXTENSIONS option .......and Remove the Unwanted tool bars from the Chrome


    after that check the browser ..... and if still the problem persists ....


    simply press windows key+r and type appwiz.cpl and press ENTER key ....now select GOOGLE CHROME from the list and right click on it and choose Uninstall option

    and also delete the registry entries of chrome from the registry editor that is simply press windows key+r and type regedit and press enter key .....then expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > software ....under the software delete GOOGLE folder

    then download the latest version chrome from www.filehippo.com


    after that install it again..........
