Copy-Pasting through "Ctrl+C" and "Ctrl+v" stopped working on windows vista

I am a windows vista user which was working fine. Now copy-pasting functionality through keyboard buttons had stopped working. It means "Ctrl+C" and "Ctrl+v" are not doing anything. It is quite annoying because i never use context menu. Do you know the troubleshooting steps?

Yes. The problem is quite annoying because almost all people use keyboard shortcuts rather than using the context menu. To fix your issue, uninstall your keyboard drivers and restart your computer again. Windows will automatically install the keyboard drivers and your computer will work fine again. To uninstall keyboard drivers, Click on "Start">>Control Panel>>Printer and Other Hardware>>Keyboards>>Driver>>Uninstall and click on "Ok". After that,"Restart" your computer and enjoy. If you are facing any other issue then feel free to post the same in this forum.

    Hi,

This problem will delay your most work or it take time to copy and Paste.

Shortcuts are very useful for fast work and typing.

    >> Just check that any key of Keyboard is not pressed at that time.

    >> Check Shift key is not pressed or Jammed.

    >> Then Check the driver of Keyboard, Most keyboard does not require Drivers.

    >> Try to unplug the keyboard and plug in again.

    >> After that restart system.

    All the Best

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say..............

1.This was the problem of the virus.

2.So you try to scan your system using the best antivirus software.

3.If your problem is not fixed.

4.Open the Command Prompt as administrator.

5.Then you write the command as 'sfc/scannow'.

    6.And then click 'Enter'.

7.Still if you have the problem you try to update your Keyboard drivers.

    Have a nice day...............

The problem that you are encountering due to disabled CtrlV and CtrlC might just be the problem of the driver.

You need to install the device driver for keyboard, use the driver i you have of your own or use generic driver from microsoft to do the job.

    Go to Start--Control Panel--System and Security--Device Manager--Keyboard...--Driver--Update Driver.

Follow the trail and install latest driver for keyboard from Microsoft in windows Vista.

This should solve the issue if the keys are in order.
