Re: Date/Time display automatically changed on Asus windows7 laptop

Firstly you have to hit on the Start button of your Asus windows7 laptop. Then you need to get into the Control panel from the start screen menu. You can then tap on the option labeled ‘Clock, Language, and Region’. Followed by that, you must hit on the option labeled ‘Set Time and Date’. Next thing you should do is to hit on the ‘Change Date and Time’ option. The Date and Time Settings’ dialog box will get appeared then. From the drop down menu, you can access the month and date. The date and time can be entered in the space provided. Once you are done, you must hit on ‘ok’ to apply the action.

At the extreme right-hand corner of the TASKBAR there is TIME NOTIFICATION,

double clicking on that TIME DISPLAY will open the time settings menu infront of your screen.

set new time there and save, your jobs done.

But, if you are having issues related to the battery installed in the motherboard which keeps the power supply on when you switch off the main power to the laptop, then you will be required to change it . so check if the time changing, or resetting to an older time occurs any more or not.

    HELLO FRIEND ,

Try to do it manually then if it changes every time then

It's due to the government moving their synchronization server, "time.nist.gov", to a new address.

It is recommended you switch to "time.windows.com".

right click your time, going to "Adjust Date and Time"

and to the tab "Internet Time".

Change the settings, and select "time.windows.com" on the drop down menu,
