Default search engine changes after setting it in Google Chrome on Windows 7 System

I have set the particular search engine as the default search engine. When I try to enter the query and hit enter, it is searching in the different search engine, rather than the default search engine. I will be much thankful, if anyone solve the problem.

Follow these steps to solve the problem.

    Click Chrome Menu.
    Select “Settings”.
In the search, click “Manage Search Engine” and hit Enter.
Check if the default search engine is displayed beside search engine.
If not make it default by clicking “Make Default”.
Click “X” on the another search engine, which you do not want.
Search takes in the default search engine and the problem is solved.

Hey this is very easy to do.

Just follow the steps below and you will be able to change your default search engine:-

    1) Open "Google Chrome". and click on the "Menu".

    2) Under "Menu" select "settings".

    3) In "settings" under "Search" option click on the "Manage Search Engine".

    4) Delete all the search engines except "Google"

then your search engine will not change ever.
After whenever you face such condition try this again the problem will be solved.
