it might be because of hardware problem or might be because of some virus problem

first of all format your PC and reinstall the fresh OS (not from the previous dvd )
    check still the problem exist

if its starting after some time there might be heat sink problem and the fan might not be working
better to show a hardware expert or get a coolant

plz specify if any particular error is appearing

    Thanks

    Hello Friend,

Well, it seems to me there is either some hardware or software issue involved in your Dell Inspiron laptop. Generally, PC do tend to restart whenever there is some RAM problems. But you are not in a position to check whether your laptop Ram is working fine or not so you should check if there is an issue with your Windows XP Operationg system.

In any operating system if any files are missing or the OS is corrupted the PC behaves in an abnormal manner. To sort this issue out try to use System Restore is possible otherwise Format would be the best option. But you should talk to a representative of Dell india and seek help.

    Bye,

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say.......................

1.This can be the problem of the power settings.

2.So you go to the start menu and then open Control Panel.

3.And then you open the Power Options and change the settings.

4.If still you have the problem then this can be the Os problem so you re-install the OS.

5.If still you have the problem then this is the problem of the hardware your Ram may be damaged.

6.So try to replace it with new one to solve your problem.

    Have a nice day.............................

    Hello Dear,

This may the issue with RAM or OS.

Firstly check the RAM is properly working or not.

Remove the RAM and Clean it and Place it in its position back.

If still its the same reinstall your OS with Fresh OS CD/DVD not with the same OS CD installed previously.

Even then if the problem not fixed, then it is Hardware problem.

Contact near by Hardware expert and solve the issue.

First you should check whether your laptop is throwing out too much heat than usual :
1.If it is then clear the ventilation area where the fan throws out the heat ....you can watch it on youtube.com that "how to clear the fans of dell inspiron 1100 ".
2.If it isn't then you need to restore your PC settings to a safe restore point or you can use windows recovery CD to repair the fault .
