    Disabling hibernate in Windows XP in Asus notebook

    How to disable or enable hibernate in Windows XP in my Asus notebook. Can you explain the process?

    For disabling or enabling hibernate in Windows XP in your Asus notebook, do the following.
    • Open the control panel from start menu
    • Now you should double tap on the Power Options icon
    • Tap on ‘Hibernate tab’ within Power Options Properties window
    • To disable the hibernation, uncheck the "Enable hibernation" checkbox
    • To enable the hibernation, check the "Enable hibernation" checkbox
    This is how you disable or enable hibernate in Windows XP in your Asus notebook. You can also see the space required for hibernation in the same window

    Hello friend.,

    ->Hibernation does not make sense for a lot of desktop system but it is perfect when comes to the notebook.


    *So you can easily understand the process by follow the simple steps as follows:


    <>To Enable or Disable Hibernation:


    1.Click Control Panel.
    2.Click Power options.
    3.Select the Hibernate tab.
    4.Uncheck Enable Hibernation box to disable(or check to enable).
    5.Click OK.

    Disabling hibernate in Windows XP

    • Go to control panel by clicking start menu from desktop .
    • Now you need to select Power Options from control panel.
    • Choose Hibernate option from Power Options Properties .
    • Now to if you want to disable the hibernation, disable Enable hibernation option.
    • Now to enable the hibernation you need to check the Enable hibernation .

    Here are the steps to enable or disable Hibernation in your asus notebook running on windows xp:


    1. Click start->settings->control panel(open classic view)

    2. Click on power options

    3. Select the hibernate tab.

    4. Uncheck enable Hibernation box to disable or check it to enable it.

    5. Click OK



    6.Now, the next time you want hibernate, in the Turn Off Computer dialog, press and hold down the Shift Key. The Stand By option will change to Hibernate whilst you hold the Shift Key pressed.

    7.With the Shift Key down click on Hibernate.

    Hello,

    2.Click the screen saver tab.

    3.Click the power settings button.

    4.In the power options properties dialog box click the hibernate tab.

    5.Uncheck the enable hibernation check box.

    6.Click OK then click OK again.

    FOLLOW THESE STEPS:-
    Go to start menu.
    Open control panel.
    Press the power option twice.
    Go to properties.
    Press hibernate tab.
    Now turn off the enable hibernation option.
    That's it.

    Hello Friends...

    Disabling Windows Hibernation in Window XP:-


    1. Right-click the desktop and click the "Properties".
    2. Open the "Display Properties" window, click the Screen Saver tab.
    3. Click the Power button and Open the Power Options Properties windows.
    4. In the power options properties window, click the hibernate tab.
    5. Unchecked the "Enable hibernation" check box.

    6. Click “Apply” button then click OK button.

    DEAR FRIEND,


    And for the disabling and enabling of Hibernate option

    click the start menu and go to control panel

    and after click the system and security option

    and then click power options

    and after click change plan settings option

    then click change advanced power settings...

    then a window will be displayed ....

    after scroll down and select the ....sleep and expand it

    and select the Hibernate option under the SLEEP

    and for the disabling ....to select it as NEVER and for the enabling select the hibernation time

    after that click APPLY and click OK

    Dear friends..

    Go to control panel from start menu

    Now you have to select Power Options from control panel.

    Click on Hibernate option from Power Options Properties .

    If you want to disable the hibernation, disable Enable hibernation option.


    If you want to enable the hibernation check the Enable hibernation .

    To disable hibernate in windows fallow these steps
    right click on screen
    select personalization
    select control panel
    then select power options
    select hibernate changing option
    disable hibernate option by checking the option
    if you does not see

    Here is step-by-step Instruction to Disabling Hibernate in Windows XP:

    >> Open Start menu.

    >> On Right side of Start Menu Click on Control Panel.

    >> In Control Panel Select Power Options

    >> In this Dialog box Go to Hibernate tab

    >> Remove Tick Mark from Enable Hibernate option.

    >> Click On Apply Button

    >> Then Press Ok Button.
