    Disabling Microsoft Messenger service in Asus notebook

    I would like to disable Microsoft Messenger service in my Asus notebook. How can I do that?

    Follow the steps below to disable Microsoft Messenger service in your Asus notebook with windows
    • Tap on ‘Control Panel’ in the start menu
    • Then tap open the ‘Administrative Tools’
    • Then open the option ‘Services’
    • Tap on ‘Messenger’ and then double tap to open ‘Messenger Properties’
    • Disable ‘Startup Type’ and tap on ‘stop’ option
    • Finally tap on ‘Apply’ button

    Switch to Classic View at the left pane if it is in Category mode ~_~


    ~_~ Select
    Administration tools ~_~


    ~_~ Select
    Services option ~_~


    ~_~ Now scroll down and search for
    Messenger ~_~


    ~_~
    Right-click on it once you found and select Properties ~_~


    ~_~ In
    General tab,select Disabled under Startup Type ~_~


    ~_~ Click on
    Apply and Ok ~_~

    Hi friend ,

    To disable Microsoft Messenger service you can use a third party software

    SHOOT THE MESSENGER

    - Download this software here
    - Now right click on this software and click "Run as administrator"
    - It will detect Microsoft messenger is running or not
    - If it is running click on Disable messenger

    Hello,

    Follow these steps:

    -->Open "Control panel"

    -->Click on the "Administrative tools"

    -->Click on the "services" option.

    -->Open the "Messenger" and than double click on the messenger properties.

    -->DISABLE "start up type" and click on the "Stop " option

    -->Hit apply to save the changes.

    hello Friend . . .

    This is very simple Process To Disable Microsoft Messenger service.
    we have so many way to disable it.
    Now follow these steps which one best.

    1. Press win + r Run is open.
    2. type Service.msc . ( for lunching windows service manager ).
    3. Search and double click on " windows Live Id Sign-in Assistence ". ( a properties box is appear on screen ).
    4. put the service as a disable mode.

    Now the Microsoft messenger service in disabled.

    @ first go to control panel

    @ now go to your administrative tools

    @ now go to the services option

    @ now go to messenger

    @ than click on the properties

    @ now disabled startup type than click on the stop

    @ at last click on the apply option

    • First go to the control panel.
    • select the windows messenger.
    • there will be an option called uninstall, just click it.

    To disable microsoft messenger service just follow these steps:
    1. Click Start ->click Run -> type gpedit.msc, and then click OK.
    2. In Group Policy expand Local Computer Policy -> expand Computer Configuration -> expand Administrative Templates -> expand Windows Components -> and then expand Windows Messenger.
    3. Double click Do not allow Windows Messenger to be run, and then click Enabled.
    4. Click OK.
    5. On the File menu -> click Exit to quit the Group Policy snap-in.

    If you want to disable microsoft messenger service on your notebook ..then follow the below steps :

    - Firstly go to control panel from start menu and click on performance and maintainence
    - Next you have to open administrative tools and then services option there
    - Then right click messenger option and open properties
    - Now you have to click on stop and select disable in the startup type
    - At last to apply the changes click ok

    To stop/ Disabling the Microsoft Messenger Service to follow the step:-

    1. Go to Start >> Control Panel >> Performance and Maintenance >>Administrative Tools.
    2. Double-click Services. In the Services panel, select the Messenger
    3. Right-click and select Stop to turn off Messenger.
    4. Right-click and select Properties.
    5. From the Startup Type drop-down list, select Disabled and then click the OK.

    If you want to disable the Microsoft messenger service in asus notebook ...So you have to do some steps which i can show you here..
    Just see and then try yourself..
    First of all click on the start button and open it .After that click on the control panel and also open it..Then click on the Administrative tools..here you can see so many option just click on the "services" option. Open the "Messenger" and than double click on the messenger properties,Now DISABLE "start up type" and click on the "Stop " option,And at the end press to apply and save it.Click ok..
