Friend, in order to remove this error,
1) Restart Your Computer.
2) Make sure to make changes which was there before the driver has been installed. This can be done by using 'Restore Point'.
3) Install The Latest Manufactured Display Drivers.
4) Update the drivers.
Note: Install drivers which are supported by your System and it's Version to avoid this errors.
ltimately what I think worked is this:
- Uninstall ALL the various drivers and utilities for ALL the video cards
- reboot
- login and cancel ALL PnP requests to reinstall your video cards
- Run your Matrox installer (obviously grab the latest one)
- Reboot
- If you want to use multi-display enable this now and reboot
- Now allow the PnP to install the Nvidia driver
Hello,
If the drivers are not getting installed than you can always download the new or the older version of those drivers.
And then try installing them,I am pretty sure it will work.
All the best

Hello Friend,
In windows 7, problem with the display drivers often occurs. Here, the according to my point of view the only solution for this is the re-installation of the drivers. For this follow the given steps:
1. Go to My Computer by pressing "Window + E" and then open C:/ drive or the place where the drivers are located.
2. Open the folder containing required drivers and then go to WIN.
3. Here, you'll see the folder named DISPLAY. open this.
4. Click on setup.
5. A dialog box will appear to ask you for the permission to access that. click OK.
6. Complete the installation.
Hence the problem solved.
GOOD LUCK.....
Hi friend,
this may be due to loss of display drivers from your PC
according to me if you use Windows 7 OS then you don't need any display drivers
or if you use any other OS please update your drivers then the problem may not exists
you can install your drivers by going to your graphic hardware manufacturer's website example AMD website or NVIDIA website

Hi,
The message itself speaks about the problem.
Download a fresh updated version of driver file from Microsoft website, or if you are using the graphic card from a different manufacturer download a fresh copy of the driver file mentioning the model of the card and install it in Windows .
Your problem will be sorted.
Thank you.
Hello friend,
