Duplicate file issues on Samsung desktop system powered by Windows XP

I have tried installing SQL software on my Samsung desktop system powered by Windows XP. But the first trial was a failure and half of the files got installed. When I tried reinstalling the software once more after deleting the current files, it is showing some error like duplicate files. But I couldn’t figure out which of the data is duplicated. Help me to install it correctly please.

SQL software is quite a big software its not small software,it has many components like
    1)Sql server compact..
    2)Sql server systems clr types
    3)Sql server database publishing wizards
you must uninstall these components also....then only you can able to install this SQL software

    Hello,

Friend i have always suggested people to uninstall the programs using the control panel.
Many a times there are a few files which remain in the system which becomes an obstruction when u install similar kind of aplication.
The same thing happens with the anti virus too.
Now what you can do is fine the place where sql has its files and than delete them.
If you are unable to delete the files than you will have re install the OS

    Regards

    dear friend,

you have to uninstall your programs first from control panel.

files which remains in the computer after uninstalling can be deleted manually from c drive > program files.

if you are unable to delete some files, you need to format your c drive & install OS once again.

    DEAR FRIEND,

there are Two ways to delete duplicate files

One is from the control panel and another one is from the register Editor or Home drive

    FROM THE CONTROL PANEL:

go to start and open run and type appwiz.cpl and press ENTER key

then a window will displays the installed program list......from the you can select the duplicate content click on uninstall

and if your unable to find with the control panel go for this

    1) simply open my computer and go to HOME DRIVE ( os installed drive C and open programs files

    2) there you can find the SQL software folder and delete it

    FROM THE REGISTER EDITOR:

press windows key+r and type regedit and press ENTER KEY

then go to this address HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>>software

under the software expansion find the SQL software related folder and delete it ..

    THANK YOU........!!!!!!!!!!
