Duplicate printer automatically set itself as default printer

I have a deskjet printer but If you want to print anything then you will have to perform a manual setting to do that. You always have to change the default printer otherwise, a duplicate printer icon appears which automatically sets itself as default. Due to this problem is created automatically when you press the print button. What is the solution of this problem.

    Hi there,

You seem to have accidentally created the copy of your actual printer. You need to delete the copy of the printer.

You should follow the steps :

    * go to control panel
    *
    go to devices and printers
    *
In the window just opens, you can easily find the "duplicate printer".
    * select the duplicate copy and then click REMOVE
    *
Now, If you have more then one printer (or any Virtual Printers installed), you need to select your ORIGIONAL printer and right click on it.
    * In the Right Click menu, click SET AS DEFAULT PRINTER

You are done..!! Best of Luck

    hi friend

I think you didn't uninstall the setup of your previous installed printer.
First you uninstall the previous setup with the help of Control Panel.

    1) Control Panel
    2) Device and printers
    3) there you get the name of your previously installed printer.
    4) make a right click on that and remove the setup.

After doing this, switch off you PC and restart the system again.
Install a fresh copy of the new printer and set them as default printer.

    Thanks Buddy..
