Re: Error “The local computer does not support encryption” when trying with VPN Connection in Windows 7

This error occurs when the encryption used by your System and VPN Server differs. Follow these simple steps:
STEP 1: Click Start >> Control Panel.
STEP 2: Click “Network and Internet” >> “Network and Sharing Center”.
STEP 3: Click “Connect to a Network”.
STEP 4: Right - Click on the “VPN Connection” and select “Properties”.
STEP 5: Tap on the “Security” tab.
STEP 6: Click on “Advanced” >> Settings.
STEP 7: “Advanced Security Settings” dialog box opens.
STEP 8: Go to “Data Encryption” and select “Maximum strength encryption (disconnect if server declines)”.
STEP 9: Click “Ok” twice and click “Connect” to connect again.
