Error 312: No wired adapter detected when trying to connect to internet in Windows 7

I have a Linksys router through which I can connect to internet and now when I try to do that with my Windows 7 system I get the error message as " Error 312: No wired adapter detected". What should I do to resolve the problem? Can someone guide me with the steps? Thanks.

If Windows fail to detect the Wireless Router it might be due to several reasons.

    1. the router is damaged and its hardware might not function.
    2. the cable or connector might be ill-fitted or defective.
    3. the driver for the wireless router might be missing or corrupt.

For a solution, check the cable and the connecting jack of the router, remove the connection and reconnect.
Click Start--control panel--system and security--device manager--network adapter--wireless adapter--driver--update deiver and install latest windows specific driver into the system. This should solve the issue.

    Hi..

This might happen when the router is damaged .

or when the driver has been damaged .

Check the cable connections once .

Uninstall the drivers and reinstall them again.

Restart your device after that .

    Thank you..

    Hello there !!!

there is nothing serious happens in your system dear.
    believe me !!!

what has happened is that , you have turned off your wireless network ,
due to which your router is not able to detect the adapter.

so i will suggest you to turn ON the wireless adapter through the hardware switch from your machine,
and then you will see that your adapter will be detected.

hope i am clear to you.
    thanks for posting in EALP.

Re: Error 312: No wired adapter detected when trying to connect to internet in Windows 7

In case Windows 7 are not able to identify the Mobile Modem it might be expected to many reasons.

    1. the switch is definitely harmed and it is electronics might not function.
    2. the wire or connector may be ill-fitted or defective.
    3. power with the instant switch may be missing out on or corrupt.

For your resolution, check out the wire along with the hooking up interface with the switch, clear away the bond along with reconnect.
Just click Start--control panel--system along with security--device manager--network adapter--wireless adapter--driver--update deiver along with install latest windows particular new driver into your system. This would address the issue.
there's nothing considerable transpires within your body dear.
    believe that me.

what has happened is the fact that , you may have switched off your instant multilevel ,
with the result that your switch is unable to identify the adapter.

therefore i is going to advise you actually to turn ON the instant adapter through the electronics move through the appliance,
after which it you will recognize that your adapter will likely be detected.
