"Error: Access Denied." while accessing System Files on Windows 7.

I am the only user to my machine and I am the administrator but I don't know what permissions I have, whenever I access any of the System Files on my machine I get the message that Error: Access Denied. What should I do now in order to access every file on my machine?

    >>Right-click the file that you want to take ownership of, and then click Properties.
    >>Click the Security tab, and then click OK on the Security message (if one appears).
    >>Click Advanced, and then click the Owner tab.
    >>In the Name list, click Administrator, or click the Administrators group, and then click OK.
    Thank you.

There is possibiloty that knowingly or unknowingly your system is protected by Administrative password.

So to access and take full control of the entire system you must log in as an administrator in your computer.

To access files do take the following actions.

Right click on the file, click Properties, click Security, click Ok, click Advanced, click Owner,
from the lst select Administrator or Administrator Group, click Ok to finish.
This will enable you to have administrative authority on that file.

Third party softwares can be used for initializing the Administrative Password too.
