    Error while installing Service Pack 3 in Acer windows notebook powered by windows

    I came across an error: parameter is incorrect after installing Service Pack 3 in Acer notebook powered by windows. Please help me to resolve this error.

    Dear Friend,
    *Before installing windows xp service pack 3 in pc you should follow given steps :
    ~Check Hard disk spaces.
    If you are installing from Microsoft Download Center then 1500 MB Required in system disk and if you are installing from shared network folder then 1100 MB Required in system disk and if you are installing windows xp service pack 3 from CD Then 1,765 MB Required in system disk.
    ~If one or two of following update is installed in your pc then remove it.
    >Microsoft Shared Computer Toolkit
    >Remote Desktop Connection(RDP) 6.0 MUI pack(Update 925877 for Windows XP)
    For above steps follow below steps :
    ~Click Start>Run
    Type appwiz.cpl in open box.
    ~Click Microsoft Shared Computer Toolkit or Remote Desktop Connection
    ~Then Click Remove.
    >If in your pc installed Third party wireless network adapter then make sure it is supported.
    >In your PC,if any anti-virus software installed then Disable it at your own risk.
    *Some of Recommended steps before installing Windows xp service pack 3 :
    Make full back up of files which is in your computer to a external location.
    >If you are using Windows XP Professional then create an Automated System Recovery(ASR) set.
    *Required Steps Before installing windows xp service pack 3 :
    >Start your computer and log on as an administrator.(Administrators have complete and unrestricted acess to operating system and its setting,You can use the Administrator user name to log on)
    >if computer is running on battery power then plug it in so computer does not lose power during installation.
    >If your computer has multiple account then you can log on same time and you can use fast user switching and make sure that all other users are logged off.
    >Exit all open programme.
    After above steps install service pack 3 for windows xp your problem will be solve.
