    Hello my friend,

Whenever virus attacks your system it mostly targets the exe file and injects malicious code into .exe files, which makes them corrupt or infected.
when your antivirus scan your system,It also treats the infected exe files as virus.
during the process of cleaning antivirus removes all the infected files from the system.
This is the main reason, your .exe files are not displayed.

    ALL THE BEST.

your system is fully attacked by a virus. install an antivirus named "symantec endpoint protection" and perform a full system scan and delete all viruses and restart your computer then you will be able to see all the .exe files.
