Facing problem in playing AVCHD format video files in Windows Media Player 11

I have Windows XP SP 3 running in my PC and I have Windows Media Player 11 installed now the problem is whenever I try to play the video files of AVHCD format I am facing an issue where the audio goes in the normal speed but the video goes in slow motion. What is the problem? If I play some other video files it just works fine without any problem. Can you tell me how to fix this problem?

    Hiiiiiiiii
AVCHD(Advanced Video Coding High Definition) is an file format for camcorders and digital cameras with HD recording capability. AVCHD Video's have advantages as files are contained in much smaller files on your hard drive and achieving Full 1920x1080 Resolution.
thus windows media player runs slow as it has the video content of high quality and it runs fine if you have graphic card in your system, rather using windows media player try to use other players like km player, vlc player etc.,
    Thank You

    dear friend,

Seems like you are using backdated/old version media player 11.

You must update windows media player 11 to synchronize audio & video files at the time of playing AVCHD format files.

But before updating, change some of its setting to check whether the problem got solved or not.

Follow these steps to do that-

    Launch windows media player 11.

    Click on Organize menu.

Select Option from the drop down list.

Select the Performance tab & check the box beside Drop frames to keep audio and video synchronized option.

Also check the box beside Turn ON DirectX video acceleration for WMV files option.

    Click on Apply + OK.

Now restart media player & check for the problem.

If it doesn't help you then you must go for media player upgradation.
