Finding problem in saving websites on Internet Explorer

I have installed Windows Vista. I am using INternet Explorer 9 and this is my default browser too. I use to save web sites that I want to use frequently. I know that if we want to save any web sites then we need to do that in favourite. I also saved the sites in the favourite. But I can't save the sites in Favourite bar. Sometimes I can't save it in either. Previously I used Internet Explorer 7 where I saved on both. Its just confusing me. I do not know the steps to do it. Is there anyone to help me ?

Yes, you can do it very easily by following simple steps. There are two methods to do it. Press windows key + E on the keyboard. This will bring you the Windows Explorer. Simply you can also Double-click on My computer. Now go to this location C:\users\<Username>\Favorites. Then Right-click on Favourites and select properties. click on the location tab and click Restore Default. Finally hit OK. This is one method. You can also follow the following method: Go to start and click Run. Type inetcpl.cpl and press Enter. This will bring Internet properties. Click on Advance tab and then click Reset. Check Delete Personal Settings box and click on Reset and then close the window. Restart the Internet Explorer for proper fix.
