Is it fine to delete the System 32 files where currently I am not using the Windows XP OS from there?

Now let me explain my problem. I have two Windows XP instance in my PC one which works and the other which is broken. So now there are two options shown in the boot screen from where one works properly and the other is broken. So I want only one option to be shown there which is working. For that I am going to delete all the Windows related files including System32 folder which is not working from C drive. Now my question is will this create any problem? Can I go ahead and delete the files to remove the broken Windows XP?

    Hello friend...

No it not create a any error but when you start the computer then it show the two option which one is working windows and other is not working windows.

if you want to delete the option show the starting time so you need to properly delete the not working windows.

To delete the windows, follow these steps:-

    Method one:-

Open the window then right click the drive where you install the second windows the select the format drive option and do the format drive..

Then it not show the windows option...

if above method is not working you choose the second method

    Method 2

Now you delete the drive right click the my computer then click the Manage

In the left side, select the disk management then Right click the drive the select the format option..

Then do the format the drive..

    I hope it help you!!

    All the best!!

    HELLO FRIEND

Yes,but format the whole drive and not just system 32 files this

ensures that a proper erasure has taken place so my recommedation is that

you format the whole drive instead of folder "system 32"..and it will create no problem

    GOOD LUCK

    Hello Friend,

I will help you to get rid of your problem k, don't worry k just listen to my words k.

1.Broken windows cannot be opened k.

2.You can attempt to repair it by placing a windows broken version software and by pressing to repair k.

3.You cannot delete windows files while operating other files k.

4.If you are able to delete also while formatting that drive it makes a lot's of complication's to delete tat folder k.

5.So it is better to put a windows cd and formatt that drive k .

    All the best ............................

    Hi,

You should not think that way to remove windows which is not working,as deleting only without registry entry can complicate the matter and make thing worse for you.

Insted insert the Windows XP cd in the cd drive and select uninstall using that. That will provide you complete registry entry of the whole thing and complete withdrawal of the unused software without corrupting the software.

    Thank you.

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say.........

1.Of course you can format one Windows XP.

2.All you need to do is insert a Windows XP CD in your computer.

    3.Now restart your PC.

4.While starting press any key to boot from CD.

5.From there you can create a one Windows XP OS instead of two.

This is better solution than deleting the System 32 files directly.

    All the best............

    My dear friend,

I will help you to solve your problem just do as i say......

Yes, you can delete the system 32 files of the Windows XP. But
you can do this only when you are not using the Windows XP.
After deleting the system 32 files you cannot use the Windows
XP as your system OS. So before deleting once think about that
    and delete the files.

If you want to delete that file even then you can directly format
the disk in which you are having the Windows XP system files.
So that you can permanently delete the Windows XP files from
    your computer.

    All the best..............

yes you can delete the system 32 files of the window xp

but it is possible only when you are not using it

you are unable to use window xp when you delete the system file

so you better need to format the system

insert the windows xp cd in the system

and restart the system and press any key to boot the cd

    now its done

    Hi, Dear friend

There is no problem ......i mean it will not create any problem .... if you delete those files

But most of the times it wont be deleted ..with the Normal procedure.....I mean before u going to delete those files ... you need to break ... OS( Not working os) path ... that is

press windows key+R and type msconfig and click OK

then tap on Boot.ini tab ..... then select the Not working OS path .. and click the DELETE button ... after that the path will be Deleted

Then restart the PC ...and check possibly ... it will shown the ONE option .... after that go to the DRIVE Location ... and delete all the files about the Corrupted OS

And if the Corrupted OS is located on Different ... Drive ... then the above is not necessary .. ... directly you can remove all the files at a time that is

press windows key+R and type diskmgmt.msc and click OK

Now right click on corrupted OS Drive and choose FORMAT drive option ....and wait for the completion of process ........

    Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi..

Before Check those files are OS related files or not..

If it is OS related files don't try to delete..

Because OS deleted files are deleted your OS will be corrupt..

Then you need to install new OS..

If those are not OS related it will be deleted when would you try..

So before you need to check those files are OS Related or not..?

    Thank you.
