    Fix for the error “80073712” in Windows 7 System

    I am facing the error “80073712” in my Windows 7 System. I do not know what might be the problem. I scanned the entire system, but still facing the error. Please, anyone help me in solving the problem.

    The Error “80073712” is the Windows Update Error. Follow these steps to solve the problem.

    Close all the programs and restart the computer.
    Insert the Windows DVD and wait till the setup starts.
    Or you can start the set up by Start >> All programs >> Setup.exe.
    Click “Install Now”.
    Click “Go online to obtain latest updates for installation”.
    If required, type the windows activation key.
    Click “Upgrade”.
    After completing the installation, restart your computer and run the Windows Update.
