Error 800736CC is received by you while updating. It might be that the update is not valid and could be corrupted. You need to remove the temporary files, to fix the Error.

    STEP 1: Open “My Computer”.
STEP 2: Double click on the drive where Operating System got installed (Mostly C Drive).
STEP 3: Double Click on the “Windows” Folder.
STEP 4: Double Click on the “SoftwareDistribution” Folder.
STEP 5: Open “DataStore” Folder and delete all files and folders in it.
STEP 6: If asked for Administrative Password, give it and confirm it.
STEP 7: Click on “Back” Button and open “SoftwareDistribution” Folder.
STEP 8: Open “Downloads” Folder and delete all it’s contents. If asked for Administrative Password, give it and confirm it.
