    hello guest !!

i came scrollling about your problem and found that you are not able to insert some special chracter in your word document.
and if you have inserted, than you are not able to save it.
    isin't it???
see, what happen with your word document is that it contain the database of those fonts and chracterthat were embedded in it during the preparation of the package.
so it is not detecting the latest fonts and hence it is not able to save your document with the present formats of font.
so in order to avoid this problem and save your latest font what you do is, you update your microsoft office online.
this will install all the latest package including fonts also.
so now after updating your package just reboot your pc and then open the word and again try to insert those special chracter and then save it.
    it will be saved automatically.

hope you are satisfied with me.

    >> Once you have created the document in your word select "Save As" from your File menu.

    >> In the new window, locate the Save as pull-down menu and select "Rich Text Format (*.rtf)"

    >> Click on Save.

    >> The file has now been saved as Rich Text Format and you will recognize it by the extension .rtf.

    Hello Guest,
Most likely you are facing some compatibility issues. To solve this issue, click on the "Office Button" located at the top left corner in the MS WORD 2010 main screen.
    > Next, click on save as. A popup should show, select "Word 97-2003 Document". This will convert your document into a format compatible with all versions of MS Office Word.
Thank You. All the Best. I hope my solution will be well acknowledged! Happy new year in advance... :-)

Re: Fixing the file conversion errors on MS Word 2010 in Windows 7

Common file-conversion problems include illegible characters, wrong layouts, and the computer stalling upon trying to open a file. Also, error messages and misguided page breaks can occur if a file did not convert properly. Some file converters may solve issues with certain file types, but since each is different you may not get the results you need in every case.

    Instructions
    1
Start Word and then click "File" on the Ribbon.

    2
Click "Open," click the document you cannot convert, then click "Save as."

    3
Click "Rich Text Format (*.rtf)" in the "Save as file type" list, then click "Save."

    4
Click "File" on the Ribbon and then click "Close."

    5
Click "File" on the Ribbon, then click "Open."

    6
Click the converted document in the .RTF format, then click "Open."

    7
Click "File" on the Ribbon, then click "Save as."

    8
Click "Word Document" in the "Save As" type list, then type in a name for the file.

    9
Click "Save." If you still experience file conversion problems, repeat Steps 1 through 9 and try saving the file in different formats until it is converted successfully. Alternately, copy and paste the file into a desired format and then save it.
