Fixing the problem with USB 3.0 with Windows 7?

I am unable to transfer any files to my external Hard Disk via USB 3.0 it just restarts automatically whenever I try to copy some files and it just stops the transfer in the middle but when I run my Windows 7 OS in safe mode it just works fine and I tried using USB 2.0 cable in the normal Windows 7 boot and it works fine too. So what is the issue now? Is it a problem with Windows 7? Will it not support USB 3.0 at all? Can you please give me some good solution for my problem?

    dear friend,

Check whether any other USB 3.0 port is working or not.

If working then change the port which is not responding.

If not then go though the guidelines given below.

Its just the problem regarding older version drivers.

You need to update the driver software to solve this issue.

Connect your PC to the internet & then follow these steps to solve the problem-

    • Click on the Start button.
    • Type Run in the search box & click on the option appeared-It'll open the Run window.
    • You may also open it by pressing Windows key+R button together.
    • Type devmgmt.msc in the edit field & press enter.
    • Device manager dialog box will open.
    • Expand the Universal Serial Bus Controller option.
    • Right click on each icon & click on Update driver software option one by one.
    After updating, restart your computer.

Hope your problem will get solved.
